| Run for the Hungry 5K & 10K: November 27, 2008 In benefiting the Jewish Family Service Foodmobile, the seventh annual Hungry Thanksgiving Day Run is fun for the whole family in downtown San Diego’s Gaslamp Quarter. The race begins bright and early at 8 a.m. on Thanksgiving Day followed by turkey-day delights, a party on the waterfront and the canned food drive. You can also bring your faithful pooch along for the run where they'll enjoy water breaks, a new bandana and a post-run treat.
