Fourth of July Festivities
8th Annual Big Bay Firework Show
Big Bay Fireworks, San Diego's largest display of fireworks, are presented by the Port of San Diego. Beginning at 9 p.m. and lasting twenty minutes, barges off of Harbor and Shelter Island will light up the Big Bay sky! Get there early since the Big Bay Fireworks always draw a crowd! The event is FREE and great for all ages. Visit The Unified Port of San Diego website for more information.
A Celebration of America
The USS Midway will host, "A Celebration of America," on the 4th of July featuring an original copy of the Declaration of Independence, national celebrities, and a salute to the 232nd birthday of America by 232 Iraq and Afghanistan veterans!
Limited tickets are available at www. Midway.org,
$10 for adults and $5 for children
The event starts at 6 p.m. and leads up to the Big Bay Fireworks.
